Are You On State Parole?

If you are on State Parole, or are a resident of the Wernersville CCC, and need help finding a job, Connections Work can help. You can get a referral by your State Parole Agent or staff member at the Wernersville CCC. Your Parole Agent of the DPC staff can make a referral by completing a Bureau of Community Corrections (BCC) Electronic Referral Form. Referrals for the workforce development should be made with Connections Work listed as the service provider.

Funding
Reentry Programs are funded through the United Way of Berks County, the County of Berks, the PA Department of Corrections, state and federal grants, foundation grants, local church groups and the generous ongoing support of businesses and individuals.

Reentry Resource Guide
The Ready to Reenter Resource Guide is designed to help connect returning citizens with services in Berks County. It addresses basic needs like employment, identification, and clothing, but also gives the offenders information for probation/parole, domestic relations, and other government agencies. The guide is updated every few months as new information is made available to us.

Berks County Forensic Task Force
Connections Work is the founding member of the Berks County Forensic Task Force (BCFTF), a group of over 40 non-profit social service and government agencies that work in partnership to reduce recidivism in Berks County. The CRN meets on an ongoing basis to help coordinate reentry efforts and to ensure collaboration among providers in Berks County.
